What have you learned from your audience feedback?
From my audience feedback I have learnt that the majority of the audience described it as feel good and also that they enjoyed how the cast was very diverse by gender, sexuality and ethnicity. However the criticism I have received was that there could have been more angles I could have used for the shots however due to the theme of my music video, this shot was significant as it was showing individuals from the same shot in order to show the difference of each character. Due to my transition from AS to A2 I have applied my audience feedback as I have used feedback from AS to improve my A2 work. For example criticism that I received at AS was that the camera work was slightly shaky, therefore at A2 we have used a tripod to avoid this also due to the nature of the video we want the one angle and it specifically needed to be still. When receiving other criticism from my audience it also consists of comments like there is no narrative which we follow as we don't have a particular story line. This is a criticism as many pop music videos usually have a story line, when creating this video we were aware that many generic music videos tend to have a narrative, however we did not want to follow this
as we wanted to follow our lip syncing idea. However we have also received positive feedback regarding the lip syncing for example it has been called "enjoyable and unique". Therefore its clear that the majority of feedback is positive however if i were to re-do my product i would include more shots e.g extreme close ups.
